What a time it will be to have our campus community back together, safe and healthy! Welcome Week 2022 will offer a variety of in-person and virtual events to kick off the 2022-2023 academic year. 

New students will experience a facilitated series of events beginning on August 27 through the first day of classes.  Events will continue throughout the weekend and through the first few weeks of school. Don't miss out!

The New Student Success Team is looking for students who want to assist in the transition for new students to UMBC. There are three different groups you can apply for:

- Welcome Week Leaders (Woolies)
- IHU/TRS Peer Facilitators
- Academic Peer Advocates

These positions vary slightly in nature and structure, but all share the core value of supporting new students to make their UMBC career begin in the best way possible.
