Hey Visual Arts Undergrads,

I'm writing this post because I noticed the other day that most of Kanopy's film library had been removed from UMBC's access. When I talked to a librarian about it, they said that it wasn't really in the budget. 

So for example my Watchlist had hundreds of films on it and now it only has 30. The access has been dramatically limited.

The librarian recommended that I use a MD public library card to access more titles through Kanopy than UMBC can offer, so I wanted to pass along that information. 

I think it would be helpful for the student body to be notified of these changes and solutions, but hopefully, people will see this post and word will spread. Kanopy is a really incredible resource and archive, so I want to encourage students to keep exploring it.
