Meetings are open to all students, regardless of dietary preferences. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE VEGAN OR VEGETARIAN TO ATTEND MEETINGS OR TO BE A MEMBER OF THE CLUB. The veg club organizes outreach events, food tastings, movie screenings, and advocates for vegan and vegetarian options on campus. We are interested in all aspects of veganism and vegetarianism, including animal welfare, the environment and sustainability, ethics, and health care. We welcome any new members, as well as ideas and suggestions. UMBC Vegetarians co-sponsors the annual Baltimore VegFest which is held at UMBC's campus every spring, so if you are interested in getting involved with that, just let us know!
