It’s kind of an unspoken rule that on Halloween pretty much anything goes.
From sexy witches to mass murderer Jeffery Dahmer, people really have no shame in dressing up.
But we think we may have found a line…
and a foreclosure firm in Buffalo crossed it.
The firm Steven J. Baum, one of the largest “foreclosure mills” in New York state, threw a homeless-themed Halloween party last year. So… No big deal, right?
Sure… unless, of course, these guys got you evicted from your house…
The firm has been investigated by New York Attorney General for filing
“misleading pleadings, affidavits, and mortgage assignments in the state and federal courts in New York.”
A homeless party is kind of like cops dressing up as inmates, or con artists dressing up as suckers, drug dealers dressing up as drug addicts.
A curious choice of theme. Especially as Baum has a reputation for foreclosing first and really not asking questions at all.
Do you have limits on your costumes or is it really anything goes?
