Rumor has it Skyjack: The Hunt for D.B. Cooper by Geoffrey Gray is a great read.
It has a good reviews, a good plot with a twist … that keeps on twisting..
The story: a renegade hijacks a plane in 1971. Demands $200,000. Then parachutes away… never to be caught. Book ends.
According to the New York Times, it’s the “only unsolved hijacking in American history”
Until now.
Marla Cooper has turned her deceased uncle’s identity over to authorities, claiming that he was responsible for the hijacking.
She asserts that her father told her in 1995 that he was the hijacker confirming her earlier suspicions.
Lynn Doyle Cooper and his niece’s story will be investigated thoroughly, but it could mean the end of the 40 year mystery.
And the spoiling of the end of a book. Rats.
