As you can see, some horrible person (Or people, rather: the clothing company Diesel, has something to do with this atrocity) has taken great pains to create an application that will disguise your Facebook account as an Excel spreadsheet.
Once the application is installed (PC and Mac versions available) open it up and log in through the file menu. Then you’ll be able to see and post status updates and use facebook chat.
Exciting, right?
By heading to the aptly-named site Be Stupid At Work, you can download the application for both PC and Mac platforms. Once installed, simply click “File” at the top of the application window, and then log in. After doing so, your friends’ news feeds and other information will be displayed in a simplistic spreadsheet style. You can also post status updates, and even use Facebook chat, while your boss is none the wiser.
Unfortunately, if your company restricts access to Facebook itself, the app will be of little use, as you must log in and verify your information using the web interface. But if you have full internet freedom and would simply like a more undercover way of keeping in touch with your friends during your busy work day, this might just be the best way yet.
