We know players can get pretty rowdy during a football game…but does it actually keep them safe?

Well Baltimore Ravens linebacker, Ray Lewis, claims that without football the United States will be overcome by “evil”.  When asked about the current NFL lockout, he told ESPN interviewer

Do this research if we don’t have a season..watch how much evil — which we call it crime — watch how much crime picks up if you take away our game

Should fans be worried for the their favorite football players or is Ray Lewis  getting ahead of himself?
