…Well at least that’s what the employees at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are telling people.

This week CDC Public Health Matters published a blog called “Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse” to get people ready for the oncoming zombie attack.

Things you might need during an onslaught of walking decaying corpses is to have ready an emergency kit, an emergency plan…(and actual zombies)

Will people start building underground shelters anytime soon? Who knows, but CDC hopes their Zombie strategy will encourage preparedness for more common types of disasters. Spokesman Dave Daigle said

he was searching for a way to raise awareness about the need to prepare for the worst, particularly in the wake of recent tornadoes and on the eve of hurricane season
