The birthers strike again!

Yesterday President Barack Obama revealed his live birth certificate to counter the long term rumors that he wasn’t born in the U.S.

Several Republican senators have repeatedly stated that they are unsure of  Obama’s citizenship. But despite the accusations, the document featured above states that he was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961.

On the issue Obama stated that

he was bemused over conspiracy theories over his birthplace, and said the media’s interest in the “sideshow” issue was a distraction in a “serious time”

The recent conspiracy has also lead the Senate to pass a law that would make it mandatory for all presidential candidates to produce their birth certificates before running.
