Last week, in the time honored fashion, theWorld Series champions Boston Red Sox visited the White House to get the traditional high five from the President. During this visit, David “Big Papi” Ortiz decided to take a selfie with the POTUS. What a fun and normal thing to do in 2014, right?

WRONG! The selfie was planned.

Samsung struck a deal with Ortiz to promote their product with the selfie via Twitter. White House lawyers are currently having talks with lawyers from Samsung to alleviate this issue.

So what do you think? Is this selfie madness now officially out of control?
