Everyone knows about Fox news’ venomous relationship with President Obama and the Democrats.
It looks like the venom is spreading.
MSNBC has decided to declare war on the Republican party. As the GOP took control of the House of Representatives, some of the network’s commentators took the chance to lambast the new majority and vowed to continue to do so.
On Wednesday, Ed Schultz, host of the aptly titled The Ed Show, got visibly heated during his verbal attack on the party:
This is an ideological war. I say it on camera tonight here on MSNBC. I will fight these $*#@!^&% every night at 6 o’clock because I know what they’re up against. I know what they want to do. They want to take down American workers. They want to outsource jobs. They want to destroy the American dream. Concentrate the wealth to the top, and control minorities. That’s what they’re about.
Accompanying Schultz, The Rachel Maddow Show featured week long series of segments chastizing the new Republicans. One of Maddow’s favorite topics became two GOP congressmen who missed the official swearing in ceremony.
If the first week is any indication, the next two years will give the folks at MSNBC with plenty to fume about.
