While citizen are going ballistic about security pat downs at airports another all-too-familiar security story sneaked into the news.

A 15 year old student gunman in Wisconsin takes High School class hostage.

Unfortunately, the story did not have a happy ending… after a frightening 5 hour stand off with police the student took his own life  in front of the class.

Readers in the USA are sadly used to hearing stories like these. Inevitably, questions are raised about security in the nation’s schools and Americans easy access to guns.

Others will condemn America as a society in love with violence on television, movies and video games.

The motives of the deceased hostage-taker are not know as of now. Still, the question will be asked… Why the gun violence in schools?
