Well, head out west because the mining business is back in action!

Rising metal prices have caused an increase in hiring for the mining industry. Companies are even hosting recruitment fairs to fill their ranks.

Some people are still deterred by the constant danger; however, many high school graduates are starting a life long career digging for metal. Apparently it pays the rent…and maybe a little more.

One high school teacher hopes that he’ll get his own mining job down the line because

“Some of them, in the first six, eight months, their salaries absolutely crush mine
