If you are a college student and reading this post… perhaps you should be studying instead.
According to a recent report, college kids need to work harder.
The National Survey of Student Engagement reveals
“that students aren’t meeting faculty expectations for how much time they should spend studying.”
Amount of time pounding the books also varied among subjects. Seniors studying engineering would be more likely to spend 20 hours per week preparing for class than those in education and social sciences.
But engineers shouldn’t boast
“a full 22 percent of engineering seniors say they frequently show up to class without having completed assignments. That’s the highest percentage of any major”
How many hours a week do you spend studying? Take our poll and see where you fit in.
