Project 2061 is a 3-credit supervised independent study offered for Spring 2012. In this class, we will work to design visions of the future of aging through researching technologies and learning to depict, write about, or build models of them. We have participating faculty from Interaction Design, Human-Centered Computing, Mechanical Engineering*, and The Erickson School for Aging Studies.
We seek committed, responsible, independent, and creative students from any departmental major.
Join us! Be part of an interdisciplinary team, present your work at conferences, and do something fun and creative while earning credit. You must be flexible and willing to think outside the box.
The class meets regularly on Fridays from 1-3 PM in Fine Arts 107.
*For Mechanical Engineering students: this Independent Study will be an elective (and a design elective, but it could count for technical or science elective).
