Steinly used four organometallic classes (organo-arsenic, platinum, 

-selenium, and -tin) to introduce them to the environment through waste water treatment plants, the shipping industry, and agricultural runoff. The results of this study provide insight into how organometallics absorb solar radiation. Parisa Soleimanifar worked with Drosophila host-parasitoid wasp communities, focusing on Drosophila melanogaster and Drosophila simulans. She characterized the body sizes, abundances, and distributions of each species across different geographic locations, allowing her to generate hypotheses about factors determining species distributions and coexistence. Benjamin Zimmer will be presenting an argument for North Korea's nuclear weapons program. His argument will be centered around a rationale that the program is a rational response to the current state of international affairs.
