Increasing and Improving Interactivity in Webinars
Dr. Thiagi (Sivasailam Thiagarajan) declares good news -- and bad news: Death by PowerPoint has been replaced by death by webinars. During recent years, webinars have evolved from a technical novelty to a ubiquitous tool for delivering information and training. However, most improvements in webinars have been on the delivery side rather than on the design side. As a result, the use -- and the abuse -- of webinars has reached the phase of sophisticated delivery of shoddy designs. In this video, you will learn practical techniques for increasing and improving interactivity in the design of webinars. Intended for all levels of practitioners, this interactive session explores a variety of LOLAs (Live Online Learning Activities) including structured sharing, interactive lectures, interactive storytelling, instructional puzzles, and jolts.
