Cyber Security on Campus
Presidents Freeman Hrabowski from UMBC and Alan Merten from George Mason University collaborated with their CIOs, Jack Suess and Joy Hughes, respectively, to produce a provocative video on the responsibilities of presidents to ensure cybersecurity. The moderator of the discussion is Frank Sesno, former senior vice president and Washington, D.C., bureau chief for CNN, who is now a member of the faculty at George Mason while still producing specials for CNN. Frank challenges presidents and CIOs to articulate what they have done to fulfill the trust their constituencies have placed in them, why it matters, and what more can be done.
