RSA Kick-off CyberTini Co-Hosted by bwtech@UMBC and Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore On Wednesday, February 22, 2012, bwtech@UMBC Research and Technology Park and Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore welcomed Cyber executives headquartered across the nation to the second CyberTini Happy Hour. Over 100 cyber executives came together to celebrate the rapid growth of cyber businesses in the state of Maryland. bwtech@UMBC announced that it now houses 32 cybersecurity tenants up from only 2 companies about a year and a half ago. Rick Geritz, CEO of CyberHive, described CyberMaryland's presence at the 2012 RSA Conference in San Francisco. 36 of Maryland's most innovative cyber companies will be represented at the CyberMaryland exhibit and eight will be hosting their own exhibit booths. Rick introduced the National Cybersecurity Hall of Fame, which will be located in Baltimore, and launched at the RSA Conference. CEOs from Lookingglass Cyber Solutions (www.lgscout.com) and Oculis Labs (www.oculislabs.com) described their companies technology space and shared their fund raising experiences and growth plans.
