This Thanksgiving season, UMBC Hillel is participating in the Jewish Connection Network Annual Casserole Challenge!
It’s easy to participate: whip up a casserole, freeze it, and then bring it tocampus on Giving Tuesday, December 3 2024. Hillel staff will deliver them to a dropoff site, and the Jewish Connection Netwwork will ensure your casseroles to local nonprofits supporting families and individuals facing homelessness and food insecurity.
If you have access to a kitchen on or off campus, you can cook on your own or host a casserole party with friends. You can also use your family's kitchen while you are home for Thanksgiving.
You can make your favorite recipe, or use one of the recipes provided: https://www.thejewishnetwork.org/casserole-recipes/. Save the receipts, and Hillel will reimburse you for any ingredients!
If interested in participating, please fill out the form by November 26
