Hebrew school teacher positions open at Temple Isaiah
Part-time job opportunity!
"Kulanu at Temple Isaiah, in Howard County Maryland, is seeking teachers for our innovative and interactive Kulanu program. All teachers are part of a teacher team that work together to create the content for the classes based on our custom curriculum.
We have two open positions: 4th-6th Grade Teachers: 9am-1pm on Sundays (9am-11:15am also possible). Some Hebrew knowledge required.
7th Grade teacher: 6-8pm on Sundays. The topics are the modern Jewish Community, The Holocaust, and The modern State of Israel.
We invite you to be a part of our creative and energetic teaching team for our growing school!
Pay for undergraduate students begins and $30 per teaching hour and for graduate students $40 per teaching hour and goes up based on experience

High Holidays Survey!"The Abrahamic House is a multifaith incubator for social change. We are a co-living, co-learning, and co-creating space to connect, pray, organize, and serve.
Applicants who are accepted to the program will live together for 1-2 years with the opportunity to learn, gather and serve to challenge and transform faith-based assumptions, prejudices and inequities with the goal to inspire and mobilize others to do the same. During this time, fellows with diverse professional and academic day-to-day commitments will design and facilitate educational and community-building programming together in their free time, culminating in a capstone impact project. In turn, rent is subsidized up to 75% and all Abrahamic House events and programming are financially covered."
The deadline to apply is July 1st. While the focus is on Muslim, Jewish, Baha'i, and Christian communities, people of all faiths are welcome to apply! Check out the website to learn more and apply!

Apply for Resetting The Table!
Learn about the I/P Conflict through a dual-narrative
In partnership with The Associated's Insight Israel Forum and Resetting the Table, we are offering a 3 part mini series for UMBC students this fall semester. Participants will be trained in constructive communication skills and together explore the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a dual narratives approach. The program is open to people of all backgrounds, experiences, and knowledge levels—incoming freshmen and transfers included!
Meetings will take place during free hour on Fridays 9/24, 10/1, and 10/8 at 2 PM, lasting between 2–2.5 hours (currently unsure if in person or virtually). If you're interested in joining us, please fill out our non-binding application!
