This holiday season, the UMBC American Red Cross Club is collecting various kinds of item donations to provide to The Samaritan Women, a social service organization that provides care to human trafficking survivors and strives to end domestic sex trafficking.
We will be collecting these items from Sunday, November 8th, 2015 through Sunday, December 6th, 2015.
Just look out for the RED GIFT-WRAPPED BOX marked "UMBC Red Cross Club: The Samaritan Women Drive" in COMMONS NEAR CIC DESK! (COMMONS MAIN DESK)
Some of the donations needed (attached is the official full list of items):
- Bandaids
- Batteries
- Dish soap
- Deodorant
- Feminine pads; tampons
- Hand sanitizer
- K-cups
- Kleenex
- Paper towels
- Toilet paper
- T-shirts, sweatpants
- Tennis shoes
- International/US phone cards
- Gift cards - Target, Walmart, Pizza, Subway
