Home Fire Campaign in Aberdeen!
Save lives by helping install fire alarms in neighborhoods.
Seven times a day in the United States, someone dies in a home fire. Even more frequently, American Red Cross volunteers provide help to families who have lost their homes to devastating fires. It's important, now more than ever, that we all join together to save lives, reduce injuries and cut down on needless losses from home fires.
We seek your partnership in joining us in this nationwide public initiative that aims to reduce the number of fire deaths and injuries in the U.S. by 25 percent within the next five years.
You will be working in a neighborhood with the other Red Cross volunteers as well as the Fire Department to install fire alarms in homes for free! Breakfast and lunch are provided for volunteers.
Transportation can be provided for 4-5 students.
