TTL EVENTS 

Wednesday, October 9 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Brown Bag: How to Apply for Research Funds.Come to the graduate lounge for a lunchtime mini session on applying for research funds for your thesis or portfolio projects. 

Wednesday, October 16 from 12:00-12:30 p.m.: Dresher Center Research Fellowships Info Session. Courtney Hobson, program manager at the Dresher Center for the Humanities, will lead an info session on funding opportunities for graduate students available through the center. Location TBA. 

GRADUATE SCHOOL DEADLINES

• Two months before project defense: Final Master’s Examination Committee form

• Two weeks before project defense: Certification of Readiness to Defend the Master’s Thesis form. 

• December 1, 2024: The signed approval sheet and electronic thesis must be submitted to UMI/ProQuest by the dates per semester listed below. The original signed approval sheet must also be submitted to the Graduate School.

• December 20, 2024: This is the last day to submit the Certification of Completion of Master’s Degree Requirements form.

• December 18, 2024: Commencement

October 29, 5:30 p.m. AOK Library Gallery. Humanities Forum: Dagmawi Woubshet on James Baldwin & the Art of Late Style

October 31, 12:00-2:00 p.m., AOK Library Gallery. “Haunted” open house featuring items from the Eileen Garrett Parapsychology Collection, tarot card readings, and other events.
