    <div class="html-content">Dear Retrievers and Valued Transit Riders, <div><br></div><div>We’re pleased to share that UMBC Transit will <strong>resume service on the Spring 2026 Weekend schedule</strong> following last week’s winter weather closure. </div><div><br></div><div>As we reopen, please be aware that <strong>snow buildup and ongoing cleanup efforts across campus and off campus</strong> may still impact operations. Riders should expect delays as our operators proceed cautiously. Our focus remains safety first as we work through this transition back to service. </div><div><br></div><div>Additionally, many sidewalks and boarding areas may still be uncleared or partially obstructed. For your safety, we ask that riders please: </div><div><ul><li>Use extra caution when approaching bus stops and boarding buses </li><li><strong>Do not stand in the street</strong> if sidewalks are unavailable </li><li>Stand back and <strong>allow the bus to come to a complete stop before boarding</strong> </li><li>Allow additional travel time and remain patient as conditions continue to improve </li></ul>Our team will continue to monitor route conditions closely and make adjustments as needed to ensure the safest service possible. </div><div><br></div><div>We appreciate your patience and cooperation as campus continues recovery efforts.
