Penn Line service will slowly be resuming.  Expect extensive delays in both directions.  No Trains will stop at  Odenton Station in either direction and will remain closed for passengers until further notice.

Due to the service disruption this morning on the Penn Line, Washington Metrorail will honor MARC tickets. Please show your MARC ticket to the Metrorail Station Manager, and he or she will permit you to enter through the gate next to the information kiosk. Please note that Metro parking charges, however, are not included and must be paid upon exiting the parking lot. Reimbursement is not provided.

As a reminder, Penn and Camden Line tickets are always cross-honored between the two lines for travel to equivalent zones.

Track work has been completed between BWI and West Baltimore.  MARC Trains will commence boarding on their regularly scheduled platforms.  Residual delays will occur over the next hour or two, but no further major delays are anticipated.

BE ADVISED:  Until further notice, all Penn Line trains will board on the northbound platform at the following stations:   BWI, Halethorpe, and West Baltimore.  Engineering forces are working to resolve a track defect that is causing this single-tracking situation.  Significant delays are expected throughout rush hour service.  Updates on service status will be provided as they become available.
