Hello UMBC Students and Staff!
We just wanted to inform you of an upcoming peace conference, "Pathways to Peace" hosted by Hostelling International Baltimore. Pathways to Peace will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 1-8pm at the Central Branch of the Enoch
Pratt Free Library and HI-Baltimore Hostel. The event’s goal is to get people excited about travel,
whether near or far, and for them to understand how traveling promotes peace
and understanding of other cultures.
This is a great opportunity for you and your fellow Retrievers to become acquainted with Hostelling International and our community members. We will have travel presentations, travel 101 guides, Peace Corps representatives, yoga, a "world buffet" and much more!
