The Women’s and Gender Studies Program at Morgan State University, in conjunction with B’More Proud, invites scholars to participate in a one-day academic symposium. The symposium will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013. This symposium seeks to explore the complex intersections of sexuality, gender, race and ethnicity as they relate to LGBTQ themes. Each year’s themes will reflect the dimensionality of intersectional inquiry. The symposium is open to scholars in every discipline whose work is pertinent to Queer Studies
and/or the LGBTQ community.
We invite submissions in the following subject areas:
