GBM #1 Spring 2024 and Plot Rental
Hi Sprouts!We hope you had a restful spring break! Now that it's finally getting warmer we'll be having regular garden clean-ups again.
This Friday, March 29th from 2-3:30 pm we'll be having a GBM at the garden. We'll be cleaning plots and planting (if you're ready to do that, bring your plants/seeds).
Lastly, about half of Fall plot renters have not confirmed their plot usage for this Spring. Please do that ASAP if that's you.

Involvement Fest
Hi, Sprouts!
Welcome back! We hope you enjoyed your winter break.
Ifest is happening Wednesday, Feb 7. from 12-2 pm in the RAC. We welcome new and returning members to come visit us.
If you are a current Plot Renter please confirm with us whether you'll be continuing to use your plot for the spring semester by Sunday, Feb 11th.
We are looking forward to a more involved Spring growing with you all as the weather warms up.
This Thursday, October 26 from 3:15-5:15 pm we will be having another clean- up day at the garden! Our focus will be cleaning up the shed with the help of the Gardeners of Retriever Essentials.
The weather should be nice, so this is also a perfect time to clean your plot as well.

We will be having our first meeting for the fall semester this Thursday, September 28 at the Garden located near the UMBC Police Station. The meeting will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Garden, from 11:30 - 1PM! We hope to see you there!
It's that time of the year again! If you are interested in being a part of the
e-board next year, please fill out our interest form! Our available positions are Vice President, Treasurer,
Secretary, and Social Media Chair. This is the interest form to fill out:

Fill this out by Wednesday, April 26th if you would like to run. We will
be sending out a voting form the next morning so make sure you fill out the
interest form or else you will not be able to run.
Also, a couple of other things to keep in mind if you are interested in
running:
1. You must be an enrolled undergraduate student at UMBC. Graduate students and
faculty cannot hold any of our E-Board positions.
2. You must have previously been a member of this club for at least one
semester at UMBC.
3. You must be able to commit to at least one full year on the E-Board. The term
starts May 1st, 2023 and ends May 1st, 2024.
4. If you are interested in running for more than one position, please complete
separate forms for each position you are interested in.
5. The duties of each position are explained in the form.

Burgers and Chip(s)
Our first event of the year!
Hi Sprouts! We hope you are enjoying and relaxing during your last month of break!
The Garden Club, with special guests Sgt. Cheatem and Chip, as well as the women's basketball team, are hosting our first event of the year! Burgers and Chip(s) will be happening on August 12th from 1-3pm at The Garden (located in front of the UMBC Police Station).
This will be a great way to meet the new board and other Garden members! There will be the standard grill foods like hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, fruit, soda, etc., as well as some vegan options. If you would like to bring other snacks, foods, or drinks, please feel free.
