The SWE region E conference is being held at UVA this year and it's only $100 for student registration (that price includes the hotel and meals). I can't go because I'll be at the NSBE national conference, but it's worth checking out. There's going to be a career fair, workshops, speakers, lots of networking opportunities, and other cool stuff. Check out the website for lots of info.
