JHU APL's Girl Power

Off Campus
SWE is going to Johns Hopkins University Applied Physic Lab's Girl Power for the second year in a row! We will be on the APL campus from 3-5pm with a fun activity to present STEM principles to high school and middle school girls. We will have two tables, so we need several volunteers to help us run these activities. There are many other companies and SWE chapters present running other activities and could be a great place to network while participating in a fun service event.
We will be coordinating volunteers for this event around the second SWE meeting on Wednesday, February 29 (see the event page for the meeting to see more about the location/time). Carpooling will be set up. The APL campus is about 30 minutes from UMBC. We will arrive before 3pm to set up our tables but it will depend on what activities we will be doing and how much set up time they require.
