As we become consumed by exams, projects, papers, and presentations, we might forget some simple actions we can take reduce our energy consumption:
- Try to turn off those lights before your head droops to your desk
- Set your computer to hibernate after a short period of inactivity (saves more energy than screensavers or sleep)
- Keep your thermostat at a maximum of 70° in the winter, and remember to turn it down at night and when you go out
