This summer, explore the fascinating world of cinema with ART 325: History of Film and Video: 1965 to Present.
Topics covered include the political, economic, artistic, and technical factors influencing film and video production. Films from the counter-culture of the 60s, the American New Wave of 70s, teen movies of the 80s, American independent film and other significant eras, movements and developments in the cinema of the modern age will be examined.
Students must have completed one 200 level Arts and Humanities course prior to enrolling in this class.
