Summer STEM at UMBC is an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to science, engineering and math education for UMBC and visiting students. Taking STEM classes during summer session can keep you on track toward degree completion and help prepare you for the fall semester. With a coordinated sequence of lecture and lab courses offered in condensed four, six and eight week sessions, many students can complete their core STEM requirements in just two summers. Since many courses are transferable, visiting students from other institutions can also earn credits toward their degree.
