Learn how to craft competitive essays!
Wednesday, September 10, 2014 · 12 - 1 PM
The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program offers grants for U.S. citizen undergraduate students of limited financial means* to pursue academic studies or credit-bearing, career-oriented internships abroad.¹
As an opportunity extended to undergraduate students across the country that can grant students up to $8,000, competition is stiff and requires a student's very best academic presentation during the application process. That's where the Study Abroad Office comes in.
Join us on September 10th, in the Commons 332, as we give out helpful tips on how to craft a competitive essay, and make your application shine above others.
All Federal Pell Grant eligible students are welcome, including transfer students and freshmen.
*Please note that applicants for the Gilman Scholarship must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant or have proof that he/she will receive a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application.
