Participants will be able to schedule their second shot at Safeway locations or other providers.     <h4><strong>UMBC Transitioning to RCA Stage 4 on June 1</strong></h4>

    <span>UMBC will transition to Stage 4 on-campus Research and Creative Achievement mode on June 1. Under Stage 4, we require a minimum of 50 sq.ft. per individual in any laboratory or studio on campus, an adjustment from the prior density of 150 sq.ft. per person under Stage 3, leading to an increase in density in labs and studios. </span><span>More details are available </span><a href="https://research.umbc.edu/research-and-creative-achievement-at-umbc-during-covid-19/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">here</a><span>.</span>

<Title>REMINDER: Vaccine appointments</Title>

    <br><p><span>We still have a limited number of appointments available for UMBC’s first on-campus COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic. We will be offering the Pfizer vaccine on </span><span>Tuesday, May 11 from 9 AM - 1 PM, </span><span>please</span><span>sign-up </span><a href="https://kordinator.mhealthcoach.net/vcl/UMBCDose1" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>here</span></a><span> for the first dose. We will offer second shots on campus on Tuesday, June 1, 9AM - 1 PM. You can sign-up to receive your second dose on campus </span><a href="https://kordinator.mhealthcoach.net/vcl/UMBCDose2" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>here</span></a><span>. </span></p>
    <br><p><span>We are also offering the single dose Johnson &amp; Johnson vaccine on </span><span>Wednesday, May 12 from 9 AM - 12 noon. </span><span>Sign-up </span><a href="https://kordinator.mhealthcoach.net/vcl/UMBC" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>here</span></a><span> for the Johnson &amp; Johnson vaccine clinic. </span></p>
    <br><p><span>Both clinics will be in the UC Ballroom, when you arrive on campus, please park in </span><a href="https://about.umbc.edu/files/2019/12/2019-2020-general-campus-map.pdf" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>Lot 8</span></a><span>. You must wear a mask and practice physical distancing. </span></p>
    <br><p><span>We know that these dates overlap with the end of the semester and that some students may be concerned about vaccine reactions. While reactions to the first shot are typically mild, you are welcome to wait and </span><a href="https://covid19.umbc.edu/vaccine-information-resources/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>seek vaccination</span></a><span> off-campus at a later time. We also plan to offer additional clinics on campus throughout the summer. Remember that you are fully vaccinated </span><span>2 weeks after</span><span> your last vaccine dose, so plan enough time after your second shot before you return to campus in the fall.</span></p>
