The student organizations email list (stuorgs@lists.umbc.edu)is an unmoderated list that allows student organization leaders and members to communicate with each other. Student organizations can promote events and fundraisers using the list, but cannot use the list to promote private companies.

The question for which we’d like your feedback is:

"Should it be OK to use the list to promote a student organization fundraiser sponsored by a private company (e.g., the company donates a portion of its profits from sales to UMBC students to a UMBC student organization)?"
