Aging, Society and the Life Course is a textbook in its 5th edition, co-authored by Leslie Morgan (UMBC) and Suzanne Kunkel (Miami University). The book covers the sociological approach to the study of aging, including chapters on a wide array of topics from individual aging, health and economics to family relations and the baby boomers. Special "topical essay" focus on intriguing, current questions on creativity and aging, crime and older adults, sexuality and aging, and media images, among others. The book is widely used in sociology and gerontology programs nationally and internationally.
