Wednesday, September 2nd, 12-3pm, is Student Involvement Fest on the Quad, 12-3pm. The Shriver Center will be at the Department area, the purple area on the map, which is mid-field, to the right of the path that cuts across (see https://gallery.mailchimp.com/ce59a191183024d3965da3c9a/files/brochure_test5_BACK.pdf.)
Meet a few of the Student Coordinators leading various service sites, as well as community partners (Choice Education and Young Explorers, both that happen at Lakeland Elementary/Middle School and Commodore John Rogers' new initiative).
See below for the Fall Service Chart - please note that this is subject to change, based on the need of the community partner. Sites are already filling for which transportation is provided: BARCS on Saturdays, Refugee Youth Project, and College Gardens on Tuesdays. If you cannot make it, call The Shriver Center at (410) 455-2493 to set up an appointment with a member of the Service-Learning team to learn more about our 096 Community Service & Learning Practicum through which these opportunities occur (syllabus also below).
Keep an eye on our website for the most updated Service Chart!
