The Washington Center just obtained increased funding to students through the state of Maryland. This summer and fall 2013, state residents who participate in the Washington Center programs through MD public institutions and live in Washington Center housing will receive a minimum of $7,500 in scholarship assistance. Students who find their own accommodations will be awarded $5,500. Candidates are not required to submit paperwork beyond the regular TWC application in order to be considered, and the scholarship will be deducted from the Washington Center invoice.
