Mind Over Machines is looking for an intern with experience in software design, coding and debugging. This knowledge is essential for all applicants. Experience gained in the classroom and through personal application will be accepted.
Accountabilities in this role:
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
• Must be willing to work independently and make sound decisions expeditiously
• Strong quality and results orientation with a proactive approach
• Ability to prioritize requests effectively and understand importance and meet deadlines
• Must be willing to adapt to shifting requirements or priorities
• Ability to work independently with moderate level of direction
• Ability to work with MS office products
Qualifications:
Mind Over Machines primarily recruits current, full-time students who have completed their junior year of college and meet the following minimum requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, or a related business field
• GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
• Experience in application software development
• Knowledge of object oriented technology, .NET, C#, C++ and Java
• User interface design, web development, mobile development, and database design experience a plus
• Knowledge or skills in software engineering methodology including documentation, configuration management, and verification/validation
• Relevant coursework and/or projects
• Previous internship experience preferred, but not required
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills
• Established work ethic and ambition
• Process and results orientation
• Community service and/or extracurricular activities
