The Work
This intern position will be responsible for developing user acceptance test cases using the Cucumber framework. For information, seehttp://cukes.info/. Test cases will get built by reverse engineering an existing system using various forms of documentation, stakeholder interviews, and code/database reviews.
The intern will gain experience using Cucumber, Ruby, C#, VB.NET, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Qualifications/experience requirements?
This work sits at the intersection of technology and business. The ideal candidate will hold a 3.0 GPA or higher in pursuit of a B.S. or Master’s degree in the field of Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer and/or Web Information Systems, Computer Engineering or similar program. Preferably, the intern will possess prior experience in one or more of the following:
1. Programming and automation projects (required)
2. Automated user-acceptance or load testing (preferred)
3. Prior work with Cucumber or similar testing development tools (preferred)
4. Proficiency with Ruby, C#, VB.NET, and Microsoft SQL Server (preferred)
The intern may receive course credit for the internship (subject to your school’s requirements) and will be hired to work 16-20 hours per week for one semester.
