During the first week of August, the Racial Diversity Collaborative and the Annie E. Casey Foundation are hosting two special networking opportunities for interns of color. The events are for college or postgraduate students who have been an intern or are interested in working with nonprofits. They will have the opportunity to meet local and national nonprofit leaders, and hear why the sector needs talented young leaders of color.
There are two events scheduled in both DC and Baltimore:
August 2, 2010 (5:30pm – 8:00pm) Urban Institute 2100 M Street, NW, Washington, DC
August 5, 2010 (5:30pm – 8:00pm) Annie E. Casey Foundation 503 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD
The cost is $5.00, and attendance is limited to the first 100 people registered for each. Refreshments and door prizes will be provided.
