Strategic Victory Consulting is seeking two interns for this coming fall semester. SVC is a political fundraising group based in Baltimore (near BWI). If you get excited about state politics, have an interest in learning more, or would just like to be involved in the 2012 election in a unique way, this is the job for you. We have both state-wide as well as local clients. These unpaid positions will give you great networking opportunities with countless Maryland politicians and business people in multiple fields as well as experience in your own field of interest. 1. Graphics Intern: We need an intern who is familiar with Adobe platforms (indesign, photoshop, etc.) who is willing to work 8-15 hours a week. You will be responsible for developing quality work including flyers, invitations, business cards, etc., sometimes in a short amount of time. Knowledge of the Wordpress platform is preferred but not required. Some training is available.
2. Communications Intern: We need an intern who is able to draft fundraising letters, emails, phone calls, content development, and the occasional blog post. Some knowledge of the Wordpress platform is preferred but not required. 8-15 hours of office time is required and can be flexible with your schedule. Training is available.
