Software Engineering Intern
Raytheon Solipsys, an industry leader in the development of integrated C4I Network Centric Warfare solutions for both the Domestic and International DoD, is augmenting its multi-disciplined staff with best and brightest talent available. We are currently searching for a Software Engineering Intern with experience in Java and/or C++/Unix to assist our efforts in software development to meet product schedule, performance, and design requirements. This position is located in Fulton, Maryland and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret Clearance.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
•Working with customers and end users to understand system requirements
•Supporting systems engineering in the design and development of system requirements and architecture
•Some support of business development for new business opportunities
•Software design, development, unit test, integration, and documentation
The successful applicant will consult with:
•Other software developers within the Multi-Source Correlator Tracker (MSCT) and Tactical Display Framework (TDF) groups
•Systems Engineering
•Technical Directors
•Engineering Management
Required Skills:
•Familiarity with JAVA , C++ and Object Oriented Design
•Candidate should be self-motivated and work well individually or in a team environment
Required Experience:
•Pursuing BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or directly related degree (Senior Year)
