Are you looking for an internship, co-op, or research position for the summer?
Do you want to potentially get paid AND possibly earn credit for your work?
The UMBC Shriver Center can help you answer all of these questions. The Shriver Center has MANY PAID and UNPAID INTERNSHIP listings available for ALL majors for this summer and we need students to fill them.
To get started stop by the Shriver Center (1st Fl of Public Policy) between 9:00am and 3:00pm Wednesday, 3/7 for our special walk-in hours. Please note that students will not be seen between 11:30 and 1:00 to allow attendance at the memorial service for Lamont Toliver.
Simply add your resume to UMBCworks and, after a quick meeting with a Shriver Center staff member, you will be ready to look for positions THAT DAY! It's that simple! No appointments, no hassle!!! All it takes is 20 minutes of your time. Directions for adding your resume to UMBCworks, can be found at: http://shrivercenter.umbc.edu/student_howdoigetstarted.html
If you are not able to stop in on Wednesday for these special walk-in hours, feel free to call our office at 410-455-2493 to schedule an appointment at a more convenient time.
If you already have an internship, co-op or research position for the summer, we can also help you! Please e-mail us or call our front desk at 410-455-2493 for a placement appointment where we can discuss options for transcript notations and credit.
We look forward to seeing you at The Shriver Center!!
