UMBC SGA's Senate & Finance Board have vacancies for the Spring 2017 semester!
We are currently seeking motivated students interested in working on initiatives with the UMBC campus to make positive change.
Senate meets every Monday evening at 5:30pm, meetings are held in Commons 318. You will be required to stay for the duration of the meeting, which have no end time and have been know to run as late as 11:00pm. In addition to attending meetings, Senators are required to be a member of at least two Shared Governance Committees on campus that meet at various times, and work on initiatives around campus.
Finance Board meets every Tuesday evening at 5:30pm, also in Commons 318. The Finance Board has openings for both Finance Board Members and First Year Ambassadors. All members of the board are expected to attend the meetings in their entirety, which have been know to run past 11:00pm at times.
