ProveIT Voting: May 7-9
Help Choose Project Finalists to be Funded!
posted over 12 years ago
The 2012 ProveIT Competition is moving in to its final stages, and it is now time for YOU to decide which of the Finalists will receive $10,000 to make their project a reality!
After a careful review by the ProveIT Selection Committee (comprised of Faculty, Staff, Campus Administration, and Students) FOUR projects have been identified as the strongest applicants. It is now up to the student body to decide which THREE of these Finalists should receive the funds to begin implementation of their projects.
From Monday, May 7th - Wednesday May 9th on myUMBC, undergraduate students will be able to vote on the Finalist projects - the winners will be announced on May 11th during Free Hour. Be on the lookout for these Finalist groups over the next several days as they gear up their campaigns, and be sure to keep an eye on the ProveIT website (umbc.edu/proveit) on Friday for detailed descriptions of each of the Finalist projects.
