Community Clean-Up: OCTOBER 22- Catherine's Family and Youth Services (CFYS) will be participating in the Mayor's Office Annual Fall Clean-Up. All are welcome to join us in cleaning our community to boost pride and positivity in our city.
Playground Build: OCTOBER 30- Kaboom teamed with local organizations, Neighborhoods United, LifeBridge Sinai Hospital, and Park Renaissance, to build a play ground in Park Heights in ONE DAY. Kaboom requests that we have 200+ volunteers in order to make this a success. The co-founders of CFYS are currently board members for Neighborhoods United who are heading up the playground build, so we are all tasked with obtaining volunteers for this monumental event in the Park Heights Community.
Thanksgiving Giveaway: NOVEMBER 19- This is CFYS' 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Giveaway. We plan to give complete Thanksgiving meals to low to no income families from schools in our target area. For that, we will need volunteers to drive to deliver meals, as well as volunteers to help package the meals.
