We are hosting a STEM event that involves encouraging kids in the technology, engineering, and even mathematics fields through fun and exciting Lego Challenges. The event is a lego and research based competition between students in grades 6th through 8th and will be held at South River High School.
About 10-18 adults are still needed to judge this event. As a judge you would be filling out evaluation sheets specific to either technical (which is evaluating how the lego robot fulfills challenges), core values (which is evaluating how the team interacts and fulfills FIRST principles like team work and gracious professionalism), and lastly project (which is evaluating the research, solution, and presentation of the students relating to the challenge). As a judge, the event would start around 7:00 and continue to 12:00pm on December 10, but staying later it is always appreciated and a full lunch would be provided to you.
